     Jean McCaig was born circa 1828. She married John McMurdo, son of John McMurdo and Margaret Affleck, on 23 November 1853 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. Jean McCaig died on 16 November 1882 at Colvend, Dumfries, Scotland.

     James McMurdo was born on 17 January 1855 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of John McMurdo and Jean McCaig. James McMurdo died on 11 February 1855 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Mary McMurdo was born on 24 June 1856 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of John McMurdo and Jean McCaig. Mary McMurdo married Robert Chesney, son of William Chesney and Mary Johnstone, on 5 December 1884 at Anwoth, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Mary McMurdo died in 1935.

     Christian (Christina) Blackwood was born on 3 July 1824 at Strathblane, Stirling, Scotland. She was the daughter of William Blackwood and Helen Adam. Christian (Christina) Blackwood died on 8 March 1848 at Strathblane, Stirling, Scotland, at age 23.

     Jane Nicholson was born circa 1867. She married Robert McMurdo, son of George McMurdo and Agnes Coupland, on 19 November 1886 at Cummertrees, Dumfries, Scotland.

     George McMurdo was born on 6 December 1888 at Dornoch, Sutherland, Scotland. He was the son of Robert McMurdo and Jane Nicholson.

     Peter Jack Robbie was born on 9 February 1880. He was the son of William Robbie and Catherine Whyte. Peter Jack Robbie was a Lance Seargent Scots Guards in 1908. He married Jane Rogerson McMurdo, daughter of William McMurdo and Marion Hiddleston, on 23 October 1908 at Canongate, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. Peter Jack Robbie married Margaret McMurdo, daughter of William McMurdo and Marion Hiddleston, circa September 1917 at Toxteth Park, Lancashire, England.

     David Whyte Robbie was born in 1882 at Kingston, Forfarshire, Scotland. He was the son of William Robbie and Catherine Whyte. David Whyte Robbie married Joan Watson McMurdo, daughter of William McMurdo and Marion Hiddleston, on 13 January 1906 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. David Whyte Robbie died on 7 April 1918 at France.

     Marion Hiddleston Robbie was born on 27 March 1906 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of David Whyte Robbie and Joan Watson McMurdo. Marion Hiddleston Robbie married William Fox Sinclair in 1933. Marion Hiddleston Robbie died in 1991 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.

     William Fox Sinclair was born in 1904. He married Marion Hiddleston Robbie, daughter of David Whyte Robbie and Joan Watson McMurdo, in 1933. William Fox Sinclair died in 1990.

     Joan McMurdo Sinclair was born on 27 May 1937 at St Andrew, Edinburgh, Scotland. She was the daughter of William Fox Sinclair and Marion Hiddleston Robbie. Joan McMurdo Sinclair married William Arthur (Bill) Whiston. Joan McMurdo Sinclair died on 23 October 2016 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, at age 79. A tribute to Joan's life was published in the Winnipeg Free Press on 29 October 2016.

     David Robbie was born in 1914. He was the son of David Whyte Robbie and Joan Watson McMurdo. David Robbie died in 1995.

     William McMurdie was a Ploughman. He was born circa 1803 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. The 1881 census gives his birthplace as Closeburn, Dumfries. He was the son of John McMurdie and Agness Morton (Martin). William McMurdie married Janet Ferguson, daughter of Robert Ferguson and Ann McGhie, circa 1827. William McMurdie died on 9 July 1887 at Hilland, Morton by Thornhill, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Her birth was registered in the (an unknown value) in the an unknown place registration district. Janet Ferguson was the daughter of Robert Ferguson and Ann McGhie. Janet Ferguson married William McMurdie, son of John McMurdie and Agness Morton (Martin), circa 1827. Janet Ferguson died on 17 January 1879 at Thornhill, Morton, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Ann Gilroy was born on 4 June 1848 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of William Dick Gilray and Ann Montgomery. Ann Gilroy was baptized on 9 July 1848 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. She married Moses Parker, son of Allen Parker and Elizabeth Baker, on 25 August 1871 at High Church, Glasgow, Scotland. Ann Gilroy died on 2 February 1920 at 17 Tollcross Rd, Shettleston, Glasgow, Scotland, at age 71.

     Margaret Gilray was born on 3 October 1833 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of William Dick Gilray and Ann Montgomery. Margaret Gilray was baptized on 27 October 1833 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. She died on 9 November 1861 at North Berwick, Haddington, Scotland, at age 28.

     Agnes McMurdo was born on 29 June 1832 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of William McMurdie and Janet Ferguson. Agnes McMurdo was baptized on 1 July 1832 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. She married Kenneth Robson, son of Joseph Robson and Janet Reid, on 20 May 1867 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Robert McMurdo was a Joiner and a Missionary. He was born on 24 June 1858 at Bankhead, Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. His birth certificate lists him as illegitimate. He was the son of James Murray and Agnes McMurdo. Robert McMurdo married Mary Crockett Davidson, daughter of John McDermid and Jane Davidson, on 31 December 1878 at Maxwellton, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. On the marriage certificate it states that James Murray was Robert's reputed father, and that John McDermid was Mary's reputed father. Jane Davidson's married name in 1878 was Lyon.

     Mary Crockett Davidson was born circa 1859 at Maxwellton, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of John McDermid and Jane Davidson. Mary Crockett Davidson married Robert McMurdo, son of James Murray and Agnes McMurdo, on 31 December 1878 at Maxwellton, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. On the marriage certificate it states that James Murray was Robert's reputed father, and that John McDermid was Mary's reputed father. Jane Davidson's married name in 1878 was Lyon.

     Robert McMurdo was born on 25 September 1879 at Maxwelltown, Kikcudbright, Scotland. He was the son of Robert McMurdo and Mary Crockett Davidson.

     Kenneth Robson was born on 11 November 1824 at Kirkmahoe, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of Joseph Robson and Janet Reid. Kenneth Robson married Agnes McMurdo, daughter of William McMurdie and Janet Ferguson, on 20 May 1867 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland.

     James Lorimer McMurdo was born on 9 October 1836 at Nether Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of William McMurdie and Janet Ferguson. James Lorimer McMurdo married Mary Johnston, daughter of John Johnston and Janet Kirkpatrick Corrie, on 6 December 1864. James Lorimer McMurdo married Janet Bone, daughter of Thomas Bone and Janet Hogg, on 18 October 1878 at Dunscore, Dumfries, Scotland. James Lorimer McMurdo died on 7 January 1902 at Kirkmahoe, Dumfries, Scotland, at age 65.

     Mary Johnston was the daughter of John Johnston and Janet Kirkpatrick Corrie. Mary Johnston married James Lorimer McMurdo, son of William McMurdie and Janet Ferguson, on 6 December 1864.

     John Johnston married Janet Kirkpatrick Corrie.

     Thomas Hay Gilray was born on 8 February 1836 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. He was the son of William Dick Gilray and Ann Montgomery. Thomas Hay Gilray was baptized on 6 March 1836 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. He married Bridget Laing on 11 July 1857 at South Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland. Thomas Hay Gilray was a Stoker - British Railway in 1861. He died on 5 December 1867 at North Sea at age 31. From the Maritime BDMs on FindMyPast, he died from an accident on the ship "Iona". Occupation on board given as Fireman.
