     Margaret Blackwood was born circa 1850 at Craigton, New Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Blackwood and Agnes Gardner. Margaret Blackwood married Peter Leckie, son of John Leckie and Mary Scott, on 31 December 1868 at West Arthurlie, Barrhead, Renfrew, Scotland. Margaret Blackwood died on 4 December 1895 at Barrhead, Renfrew, Scotland.

Catherine I Marshall married John Blackwood, son of John Blackwood and Janet Drummond, on 5 April 1855 at Gartconnel, New Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland. Catherine I Marshall died on 23 October 1888 at Wingfield, Bothwell, Lanark, Scotland, at age 54.

On 18th March 1911 he sailed on the "Saxon" with wife and daughter, from Southampton, destination Natal, South Africa.
On 20th March 1919 sailed for Jamaica with wife Annie and daughter Margaret. Gavin Marshall Blackwood died on 26 December 1923 at Nice, France, at age 66.

     Anna Marshall Blackwood was born on 15 April 1859 at New Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Blackwood and Catherine I Marshall. Anna Marshall Blackwood married William Mowat, son of Alexander Mowat and Janet MacAlister, on 9 April 1891 at Kelvin, Glasgow, Scotland. Anna Marshall Blackwood died on 10 October 1929 at Withington, Manchester South, Manchester, England, at age 70.
