     Christopher Mowat Gracie was born circa 1887. He was an Insurance Agent in 1915. He married Helen(Nell) Palmer, daughter of James Palmer and Mary Waters, on 17 December 1915 at Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. Christopher Mowat Gracie died in 1968 at New Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.

     Jessie Palmer was born on 14 March 1896 at Wishaw, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Palmer and Mary Waters. Jessie Palmer married William Alexander Campbell, son of William Campbell and Catherine McDonald, on 5 September 1919 at Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. Jessie Palmer died on 12 May 1975 at Leicester, England, at age 79.

     William Alexander Campbell was the son of William Campbell and Catherine McDonald. William Alexander Campbell was a Mercantile Clerk in 1919. He married Jessie Palmer, daughter of James Palmer and Mary Waters, on 5 September 1919 at Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland.

     William Palmer was born on 22 January 1898. He was the son of James Palmer and Mary Waters. William Palmer died on 8 February 1898.

     Moses Parker was a Labourer. He was born on 11 May 1878 at Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland. He was the son of Moses Parker and Ann Gilroy. Moses Parker married Marion Forrest Campbell, daughter of William Campbell and Marion Forrest, on 2 October 1907 at Blythswood, Glasgow, Scotland. By the 1911 census Moses and Marion were separated. Moses was in St Helens, Lancs, listed as a Tramway Conductor, and Marion was working in an hotel in Blythswood, Glasgow. Their daughter, Violet, was a boarder in the house of an Elizabeth McIntosh in Camlachie, Glasgow.
The family story is that Moses went to Canada or the USA and "disappeared".
There is a Moses Parker of the right age on the ship "Hesperian" in May 1913 sailing from Glasgow to Quebec, with his final destination stated as Ottawa, Ontario. He gave his occupation as an Engineer. No return trip to the UK has been found.
Moses re-appears in the 1939 Register taken in the UK prior to WW2. He is at 68 Bland St, Manchester, Lancs, ocupation Labourer in heavy steel jointing. His date of birth is given as 11 May 1878, which is precisely correct. A thorough search has failed to uncover any other credible candidate. Also in the household in 1939 is an Ellen Parker, married, born 13 Feb 1894, and a Harry Parker, single, born 19 October 1922. Harry Parker's birth certificate, in Blackley, Manchester, gives his parents as Moses Parker and Ellen McTernan. No marriage has been found. Harry's birth registration gives him the middle name Moses, as does his death certificate. One of Harry's children has confirmed that family word of mouth had Moses as a "Canadian Scot", coming from Glasgow or Paisley but having lived in Canada. The same source has advised that Moses worked at the "Belle Vue" theme park in Manchester. Moses Parker died on 6 April 1949 at Moss Side, Manchester, England, at age 70.

     James Palmer was born on 11 June 1899. He was the son of James Palmer and Mary Waters. James Palmer died on 14 August 1899.

     William Palmer was born on 11 June 1899. He was the son of James Palmer and Mary Waters. William Palmer died on 20 September 1899 at Wishaw, Lanark, Scotland.

     Lily Palmer was born on 29 May 1901 at Wishaw, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Palmer and Mary Waters. Lily Palmer married Robert Somerville, son of Robert Somerville and Catherine Taylor, on 22 January 1930 at Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland. Lily Palmer died on 31 December 1969 at George Square, Edinburgh, Scotland, at age 68, Recorded in 1970.

     Mary Waters Somerville was born on 1 September 1924. She was the daughter of Lily Palmer. Mary Waters Somerville married Douglas Smith on 13 September 1947. Mary Waters Somerville died on 16 August 2000 at Edinburgh, Scotland, at age 75.

     Robert Somerville was born circa 1897. He was the son of Robert Somerville and Catherine Taylor. Robert Somerville married Lily Palmer, daughter of James Palmer and Mary Waters, on 22 January 1930 at Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland.

     Violet Campbell Parker was born on 2 July 1908 at Springburn, Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of Moses Parker and Marion Forrest Campbell. Violet Campbell Parker married William Bryce, son of William Bryce and Mary Ferguson, on 28 June 1929 at Camlachie, Glasgow, Scotland. Violet Campbell Parker died on 23 July 1979 at Whittington Hospital, Islington, London, England, at age 71.

     Robert Somerville died on 5 September 1934. He was born on 5 September 1934. He was the son of Robert Somerville and Lily Palmer.

     Grace Vallance was born circa 1817 at Renfrewshire, Scotland. Her age was given as 20 in the 1841 census, which could have been a rounding down. So, 1819 is an estimate. No OPR record has been found for her birth/baptism. She was the daughter of James Vallance and Agnes Pinkerton. Grace Vallance married William Blackwood, son of Matthew Blackwood and Jean McNaughtan, on 8 November 1841 at Broomlands, Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. Grace Vallance died on 14 June 1845.

     Matthew Blackwood was a Master Bleacher. He was born on 2 September 1842 at Neilston, Renfrew, Scotland. He was the son of William Blackwood and Grace Vallance. Matthew Blackwood died on 8 January 1869 at Arthurlie, Barrhead, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 26.

     Isabella McNaughtan was born on 15 June 1823 at Milngavie, Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of Rev Alexander McNaughtan and Janet Blackwood. Isabella McNaughtan married William Blackwood, son of Matthew Blackwood and Jean McNaughtan, on 12 September 1853 at Milngavie, Dunbarton, Scotland. Also, proclaimed at Neilston on 10th September 1853. Isabella McNaughtan died on 29 December 1904 at Helensburgh, Dunbarton, Scotland, at age 81.

     Margaret Blackwood was a Dressmaker. She was born in 1848 at New Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Blackwood and Janet Gardner. Margaret Blackwood died on 8 March 1927 at 15 Havelock St, Partick, Glasgow, Scotland. She never married. In the 1911 census she was living at 298 Byres Road, Partick, Glasgow, with her brother John.

Lily Palmer McMurdo died on 4 April 2004 at Montrose, Victoria, Australia, at age 82.

Marion Gilroy Parker married David Lithgow, son of John Lithgow and Charlotte Thomson, on 3 October 1905 at Camlachie, Glasgow, Scotland. Marion Gilroy Parker died on 18 September 1950 at Provan, Glasgow, Scotland, at age 70.

Annie (Nan) Gilroy Lithgow died on 19 January 2004 at Helensburgh, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, at age 97.

Peter McInally Anderson married Charlotte (Lottie) Thomson Lithgow, daughter of David Lithgow and Marion Gilroy Parker, in 1936 at Blythswood, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Peter McInally Anderson died before 1999.
