     Robert Copeland was a Commercial traveller. He was born on 23 April 1855 at Durrisdeer, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of William Copeland and Mary McDonald Bell. Robert Copeland married Annie Hyslop, daughter of John Hyslop and Lucy Talbet, on 10 October 1878 at Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland.

     John McMurdo was a Lime Quarry man. He was born in July 1791 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of John McMurdie and Agness Morton (Martin). John McMurdo was baptized on 13 July 1791 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He married Margaret Affleck circa 1813 at Keir?, Dumfries, Scotland. Marriage records for Keir are missing between 1800 and 1827. There are no OPR records for the births of John and Margaret's children after 1816. Their existence has been derived from various sources including census records, death certificates and monumental inscriptions. John McMurdo died on 3 March 1869 at Porterstone Cottages, Keir, Dumfries, Scotland, at age 77.

John Hiddleston died on 17 February 1892 at Birkshaw Cottages, Glencairn, Dumfries, Scotland, at age 82.

     Jane McWilliam was born circa 1811 at Dumfries-shire, Scotland. She married John Hiddleston, son of John Hiddleston and Margaret McDowall (McDougall), on 24 November 1837 at Kirkgunzeon, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Both of Brickonside. Jane McWilliam died before April 1851.

     John Montgomery was a Shoemaker. He was born circa 1766 at Midlothian, Scotland. Possibly the John Montgomery son of John Montgomery, Shoemaker, and Helen Ballingal, born 3rd October 1766 and baptised 13th October at Canongate, Edinburgh. He married Margaret Howden on 10 November 1810 at Inveresk & Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. John Montgomery married Marion Rutherford on 31 December 1825 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland. John Montgomery died on 1 September 1842 at Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland, Age 75.

     John Blackwood was born on 16 October 1888 at HollyBank, Kilcreggan, Dunbarton, Scotland. He was the son of James Blackwood and Marjory Davidson. John Blackwood married Caroline Parker, daughter of Moses Parker and Ann Gilroy, on 7 November 1911 at Christ Church, Camlachie, Glasgow, Scotland. John Blackwood was an Electrical Engineer. He died on 17 May 1964 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 75. In 1927 he was appointed head foreman, Brodie & Hall, Greenock. In 1935 he formed the company Scottish Western Electrical Contractors Ltd, at Greenock, as Managing Director. He was an elder and lay preacher at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Greenock, and was a past president of the Rankine Park bowling club, Greenock. He was also a member of the Lodge Kilwinning 217, and for many years president of the Greenock Branch of the Electrical Contractors' Association of Scotland. He retired in 1958.

     Elizabeth Morris Buck was born circa 1919. She was the daughter of James Buck and Margaret Orr. Elizabeth Morris Buck married Henry Allan Parker Sawers, son of Alexander Sawers and Isabella McNab Parker, on 4 July 1942 at Shettleston, Glasgow, Scotland.

     Margaret Howden married John Montgomery on 10 November 1810 at Inveresk & Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. Margaret Howden died before 1826.

     James Campbell was a Crofter. He married Marjory (Mary) Reid, daughter of David Reid and Isabella McKenzie. James Campbell was born circa 1806 at Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland. He was the son of James Campbell and Elspeth Wilson. James Campbell married Sophia Urquhart, daughter of William Urquhart and Isabella Rose, on 24 May 1865 at Nairn, Nairn, Scotland. James Campbell died on 8 July 1876 at Cawdor, Nairn, Scotland. His death certificate says he was illigitimate.

     Marjory (Mary) Reid married James Campbell, son of James Campbell and Elspeth Wilson. Marjory (Mary) Reid was born circa 1805 at Petty, Inverness, Scotland. She was the daughter of David Reid and Isabella McKenzie. Marjory (Mary) Reid died on 2 March 1861 at Nairn, Nairn, Scotland.

     Margaret Johnston married John McKenzie.

     James McMurdie was born in 1816 at Burjarg, Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of John McMurdo and Margaret Affleck. James McMurdie was baptized on 8 August 1816 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He died in June 1818 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Margaret (Peggy) Blackwood was born on 17 September 1904 at Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Blackwood and Marjory Davidson. Margaret (Peggy) Blackwood was a Typist. She died on 28 March 1924 at Denniston, Glasgow, Scotland, at age 19.

     Catherine (Kit) McNair was born on 4 March 1895 at Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. She was the daughter of George McNair and Mary Gilchrist. Catherine (Kit) McNair married Alexander Davidson Blackwood, son of James Blackwood and Marjory Davidson, on 4 July 1924 at Toronto, Canada. Catherine (Kit) McNair died on 2 May 1975 at Wayne, Michigan, USA, at age 80.

     Andrew Sawers was born in 1910 at Bridgeton, Glagow, Scotland. He was the son of Alexander Sawers and Isabella McNab Parker. Andrew Sawers was a Shipping Clerk in 1932. He married Susan Luke, daughter of James Luke and Annie Jamieson, on 7 June 1932 at Shettleston, Glasgow, Scotland. Andrew Sawers died on 22 April 1964 at Bothwell, Lanark, Scotland.

     Patricia (Patty) K Blackwood was born circa 1927 at Michigan, USA. She was the daughter of Alexander Davidson Blackwood and Catherine (Kit) McNair. Patricia (Patty) K Blackwood married George Murray Brooks in 1948 at Grosse Pointe, Michigan, USA. Patricia (Patty) K Blackwood died on 14 December 2012 at Grosse Pointe, Michigan, USA. She was a graduate of Denison University, before returning to Grosse Pointe, where she was an active community member and volunteer (Detroit News 20th Jan, 2013).

     Elizabeth Blackwood was not Married. She was born on 14 May 1920 at St Rollox, Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of Janet (Jenny) Gardner Blackwood. Elizabeth Blackwood died on 13 December 2001 at Dunoon, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, at age 81.

     Amelia (Millie) Mackay Polson was born on 27 September 1913 at Highland Park, Michigan, USA. She was the daughter of Joseph Polson and Elspeth Bruce. Amelia (Millie) Mackay Polson married Gavin Finlay Blackwood, son of James Blackwood and Marjory Davidson, on 20 October 1933 at Detroit, Michigan, USA. Amelia (Millie) Mackay Polson died on 13 October 1994 at St Clair, Michigan, USA, at age 81.

     Kathleen Helen Blackwood was born on 7 July 1936 at Highland Park, Michigan, USA. She was the daughter of Gavin Finlay Blackwood and Amelia (Millie) Mackay Polson. Kathleen Helen Blackwood died on 9 February 2000 at Columbus Twp, Michigan, USA, at age 63.

     Susan Luke was born circa 1911. She was the daughter of James Luke and Annie Jamieson. Susan Luke married Andrew Sawers, son of Alexander Sawers and Isabella McNab Parker, on 7 June 1932 at Shettleston, Glasgow, Scotland. Susan Luke died in 2008 at Lanark, Scotland.

     Gavin Alexander Joseph Blackwood was born on 16 April 1942 at Highland Park, Michigan, USA. He was the son of Gavin Finlay Blackwood and Amelia (Millie) Mackay Polson. Gavin Alexander Joseph Blackwood died on 6 December 2020 at Traverse City, Michigan, USA, at age 78.

     Paul Joseph Clancey was born on 29 May 1940. He died on 29 July 2022 at age 82.

     Alec Sawers was the son of Alexander Sawers and Isabella McNab Parker.

     Melissa Ann Clancey was born on 4 March 1975 at Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Paul Joseph Clancey. Melissa Ann Clancey died on 11 May 2022 at age 47.

     John McMurdie was a Lime Burner. He was born circa 1753 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of Thomas McMurday and Helen Kirk. John McMurdie was baptized on 8 December 1753 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He married Agness Morton (Martin) circa 1776. There is a John McMurdo of Plantainback in the OPR's who died at Keir on 16th March 1830.

     Agness Morton (Martin) was born circa 1759. She married John McMurdie, son of Thomas McMurday and Helen Kirk, circa 1776.

     Kathrine McMurdie was born circa February 1777 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of John McMurdie and Agness Morton (Martin). Kathrine McMurdie was baptized on 28 February 1777 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland.
