     Alexander McMurdie was born in 1810 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of Thomas McMurdie and Agnes Glencross. Alexander McMurdie was baptized on 15 April 1810 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Mary Lorimer married George McMurdie, son of John McMurdie and Agness Morton (Martin). Mary Lorimer was born circa September 1783 at Penpont, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Lorimer and Isabella Dalrymple. Mary Lorimer was baptized on 12 September 1783 at Penpont, Dumfries, Scotland. She died on 11 July 1871 at Closeburn, Dumfries, Scotland.

     James Lorimer married Isabella Dalrymple.

James McMurdo died on 25 July 1874 at Nethermains, Closeburn, Dumfries, Scotland, at age 61.

     Sarah Farish was born circa 1819. She was the daughter of Robert Farish and Elizabeth Turner. Sarah Farish married James McMurdo, son of George McMurdie and Mary Lorimer, on 25 September 1846. Sarah Farish died on 29 August 1862 at Closeburn, Dumfries, Scotland,age 43 years.

     Robert Farish married Elizabeth Turner.

     Helen Adam was born on 8 June 1793 at Borrowstounness, West Lothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of David Adam and Christian Young. Helen Adam married William Blackwood, son of William Blackwood and Agnes(Janet) Whyte, on 28 November 1815 at Strathblane, Stirling, Scotland. William and Helen worked and lived at the bleachfields at Craigallian. Helen Adam died on 14 November 1868 at West Arthurlie, Barrhead, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 75.

     Elizabeth Turner married Robert Farish.

Agnes Blackwood married Daniel Keith, son of John Keith and Mary McColl, on 9 September 1850 at Barrhead, Renfrew, Scotland. Married in the Free Church. Agnes Blackwood died on 29 May 1906 at Barrhead, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 79.

     Margaret Farish was born circa 1810. She married James McMurdo, son of George McMurdie and Mary Lorimer, on 26 March 1836 at Closeburn, Dumfries, Scotland. Margaret Farish died on 16 December 1845 at Closeburn, Dumfries, Scotland.
