George McMurdo married Agnes Coupland, daughter of Adam Copland and Mary Nicholson, on 11 June 1858 at Dumfries, Dumfries, Scotland. George McMurdo died on 21 June 1900 at Annan, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Agnes Blackwood was a Paper mill worker. She was born circa 1854 at New Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Blackwood and Agnes Gardner. Agnes Blackwood died on 22 January 1940 at Hillhead, Glasgow, Scotland. She was never married.

     Agnes Coupland was born circa November 1835 at Lochrutton, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. She was the daughter of Adam Copland and Mary Nicholson. Agnes Coupland married George McMurdo, son of John McMurdo and Margaret Affleck, on 11 June 1858 at Dumfries, Dumfries, Scotland. Agnes Coupland died on 26 February 1915 at Annan, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Adam Copland was a Shoemaker. He married Mary Nicholson.

     John McMurdo was born on 20 November 1858 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of George McMurdo and Agnes Coupland.

     Joseph McMurdo was a Railway Guard. He was born circa 1863 at Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of George McMurdo and Agnes Coupland. Joseph McMurdo married Margaret McNiven, daughter of James McNiven and Anne Cameron, on 1 December 1887 at Blythswood, Glasgow, Scotland. Joseph McMurdo died on 15 January 1900 at Govan Poorhouse, Govan, Glasgow, Scotland.

     Mary McMurdo was born on 3 July 1860 at Corsock Bridge, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of George McMurdo and Agnes Coupland.

     James Blackwood was born on 7 July 1890 at Kilcreggan, Dunbarton, Scotland. He joined the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force in Toronto in April 1915. His regimental number was 945. He had previously served for 3 years in the R.A.M.B in Scotland. He was the son of James Blackwood and Marjory Davidson. James Blackwood married Gladys Gwendolene Murden Holland, daughter of Charles Murden, on 1 April 1918 at Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. James Blackwood was an Electrician. He died circa March 1963 at Maidenhead, Berks, England. His Attestation Paper shows that he joined the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force at Toronto on 6th April 1915. He was a Private in the CAMC (Electrical Engineer) at Maidenhead, Berks, in 1919.

     Robert McMurdo was born on 15 February 1866 at Torthorwald, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of George McMurdo and Agnes Coupland. Robert McMurdo married Jane Nicholson on 19 November 1886 at Cummertrees, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Adam McMurdo was born on 25 May 1863 at Keir, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of George McMurdo and Agnes Coupland.

     Agnes McMurdo was born circa 1816 at Kirkmahoe, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of Walter McMurdie and Rachel McGhie. Agnes McMurdo was baptized on 30 June 1816 at Quarrelwood, Kirkmahoe, Dumfries, Scotland.
