     Lawrence Martin was the son of James Martin and Helen Jardine McMurdo.

     Mosina (Ina) Parker Blackwood was born on 11 April 1913 at Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Blackwood and Caroline Parker. Mosina (Ina) Parker Blackwood married Peter Laing Martin on 15 July 1935 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. Mosina (Ina) Parker Blackwood married John Barr McLeod in 1944 at Hillhead, Glasgow, Scotland. Mosina (Ina) Parker Blackwood married Ernest Fawcett in 1983 at Auckland, NZ. Mosina (Ina) Parker Blackwood died on 15 September 2004 at Auckland, NZ, at age 91.

     Janet Robson was born circa 1868 at Penpont, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of Kenneth Robson and Agnes McMurdo.

     William Robson was born circa 1871 at Morton, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of Kenneth Robson and Agnes McMurdo.

     Isabella Drife was born circa 1876 at Kirkconnel, Dumfries, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Drife and Janet Henderson. Isabella Drife married Alexander McMurdo, son of George McMurdo and Janet McGauchie, on 8 June 1894 at Todholes, Kirkconnel, Dumfries, Scotland.

     Joan Helen Robbie was born in 1914 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. She was the daughter of David Whyte Robbie and Joan Watson McMurdo. Joan Helen Robbie died in 1918 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.

     William Arthur (Bill) Whiston was born on 25 April 1931 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He married Joan McMurdo Sinclair, daughter of William Fox Sinclair and Marion Hiddleston Robbie. William Arthur (Bill) Whiston died on 27 November 2013 at Winnipeg, Toronto, Canada, at age 82.

     William Robbie was a Spirit Merchant. He married Catherine Whyte.

     Catherine Whyte married William Robbie.

     John Waters was a Coachman. He was born circa 1779. He married Isabella Copland. John Waters died on 19 February 1820 at Mains of Kirkconnel, Newabbey, Kirkcudbright, Scotland.

     Marion Gilroy Parker Lithgow Blackwood was born on 19 December 1920 at Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Blackwood and Caroline Parker. Marion Gilroy Parker Lithgow Blackwood married William Muir Hamilton on 18 August 1942 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. Marion Gilroy Parker Lithgow Blackwood died in January 1999 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 78.

     Mary Copeland Bell was born on 3 July 1894 at Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland. Emigrated to Quebec, October 1919, on the "Corsican", age 25. Source, FindMypast passenger lists. She was the daughter of James Bell and Lillias Waters. Mary Copeland Bell married Thomas Watson on 23 June 1923 at Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada.

     Helen Bell was born in 1900 at Cambusthenan, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Bell and Lillias Waters. Helen Bell married Alexander Buchanan circa 1921.

     Marjory Davidson Blackwood was born on 12 January 1915 at Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Blackwood and Caroline Parker. Marjory Davidson Blackwood married William Ogilvie Lothian, son of David Lothian and Jenny McDougall Templeton, on 9 January 1942 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. Marjory Davidson Blackwood died in May 1993 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 78.

     William Bell was a Master Joiner. He married Lillias (Lily) Beattie, daughter of John Beattie and Agnes Beattie.

     Marion Hiddleston McMurdo was born in 1899 at Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of Robert McMurdo and Mary Jane Bell. Marion Hiddleston McMurdo died on 14 February 1900 at Blackfriars, Glasgow, Scotland.

     Michael Dukes Amos was born circa 1861 at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England. He was the son of Robert Amos and Elizabeth Dukes.

     Annie Jane Amos was born circa 1859 at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England. She was the daughter of Robert Amos and Elizabeth Dukes.

     Elizabeth M Amos was born circa 1858 at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England. She was the daughter of Robert Amos and Elizabeth Dukes.

     James McMurdo was a Soldier/Dockyard Policeman. He was born on 3 June 1875 at Hightownhead, Kirkmahoe, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the son of William McMurdo and Marion Hiddleston. James McMurdo married Elizabeth Dalrymple Palmer, daughter of James Palmer and Mary Waters, on 21 September 1914 at Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. James McMurdo died on 19 November 1952 at Gourock, Renfrew, Scotland, at age 77. In the 1911 census James McMurdo was a lodger in Port Glasgow, and his occupation given as a labourer in a shipyard. Later, he was a Dockyard Policeman
In 1914 he was a Sergeant in the 3rd Battalion of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, Special reserve. Between 1899 and 1906 he served in the Cameron Highlanders overseas including Gibraltar, Crete, Malta, and Africa. It would seem that he re-enlisted on 28th September 1914 when WW1 broke out. From about 1919, and for the rest of his life, he lived in Gourock and was a dockyard policeman at the torpedo factory in Greenock until his retirement.

     Isobel Parker Blackwood was born on 14 December 1924 at Glasgow, Scotland. She was the daughter of John Blackwood and Caroline Parker. Isobel Parker Blackwood married Albert Hall, son of Albert John Hall and Elsie Deakin, on 14 June 1946 at Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. Isobel Parker Blackwood died on 5 February 2011 at Stafford, Staffordshire, England, at age 86.

     Mary Hunter was born on 3 February 1826 at Renfrew, Renfrewshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Hunter and Elizabeth Chalmers. Mary Hunter married Alexander Blackwood, son of William Blackwood and Helen Adam, on 16 September 1852 at Neilston, Renfrew, Scotland. Also at Paisley (Abbey) on 16 Sep 1852.
Alexander and Mary emigrated to Australia on the ship "Typhoon", leaving Greenock on 22 September 1852. This first iron masted ship was severely damaged in the Bay of Biscay and had to put into Lisbon for repairs which took 10 weeks. Letters from passengers describing the event are in the Glasgow Herald on 22 October 1852.
The ship arrived in Melbourne on 4th March 1853. Alexander and Mary are incorrectly indexed in the unassisted passenger list under the name "Blackmore" (not surprisingly, as the original entry is partially obscured). There is no child listed with them on the passenger list.
From the Melton Family History Society, it is understood that Alexander managed a general store, but also leased land at the farm "Creighton" where he ran a large flock of sheep, and was a leader in the community. When he sold up, he retired to Malvern, a suburb of Melbourne. Mary Hunter died on 8 May 1906 at Malvern, Victoria, Australia, at age 80.
