Thomasina Gilroy married William (Jas) Robertson on 16 June 1887 at South Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland. On his marriage certificate is first name is given as "Jas". However, in all subsequent censuses he gives his name as William. Thomasina Gilroy died on 5 January 1926 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, at age 57.
